Development Assessment

Residential subdivisions are often seen as a means of funding golf course developments. Site conditions will determine what kind of residential development will most profitably support the construction costs of a golf course. CGD can undertake assessments of a site and advise on the best relationship between subdivision and play areas.

Environmental Audit - Golf

Increasingly, clubs and developers are facing environmental difficulties with their golf facilities. CGD advises many clubs and developers on:

  • using different water sources, including grey water
  • irrigation and drainage
  • grass selection
  • coordination of disease diagnosticians
  • analysis of soil profiles for amendment programs (organic regimes)
  • regeneration, improvement and increase of habitat condition
Full Project Management

Incorporating all/some of the various studies listed above, CGD offers a project management service that covers whole or part of any golf development working across all stakeholders in setting time schedules/accountabilities, and pulling the project through each stage. This is a pivotal role in meeting tight time frames and reducing overall costs associated with time delays throughout any project.
